EZWhatsApp Privacy

Owner/legal review required

Privacy Policy

This draft describes EZWhatsApp / EZW privacy practices for https://ezw.solutions and the linked-device shared WhatsApp workspace. It must be reviewed by the owner and legal counsel before publication as final legal text.

Service scope

EZWhatsApp is a linked-device shared WhatsApp workspace for teams. It is not the official WhatsApp Business Platform or WhatsApp Cloud API. The service helps teams connect existing WhatsApp lines, manage customer conversations, assign work, add internal notes, send supported messages, and view operational status.

Information we process

Depending on how a workspace is used, EZWhatsApp may process workspace account details, user names, email addresses, phone numbers, organization names, connected WhatsApp line identifiers, customer conversation metadata, message content, attachments, internal notes, assignment activity, audit logs, billing status, support requests, and technical logs.

TODO: confirm whether billing provider, analytics provider, email provider, hosting provider, storage provider, and support tooling details should be named here.

How information is used

Information is used to operate the workspace, authenticate users, connect and maintain WhatsApp lines, deliver messages, route conversations, provide support, secure the service, detect abuse, maintain billing and account records, and improve reliability.

WhatsApp and customer content

Customer conversation content may be visible to authorized workspace users according to their workspace permissions. Creator or support access to customer content should require an approved support or break-glass workflow. TODO: confirm the published support-access policy and retention period.

Sharing and subprocessors

EZWhatsApp should not sell customer personal information. Data may be shared with service providers needed to operate hosting, storage, email, billing, monitoring, support, and security workflows.

TODO: publish the current subprocessors list and data processing agreement terms.

Security

The platform is designed around organization-scoped access, workspace roles, auditability, and encrypted session material. See the Security page for the current public security summary.

Data retention and deletion

Workspace data is retained as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, maintain auditability, and support customer operations. TODO: confirm retention periods for messages, attachments, audit logs, billing records, inactive accounts, and backups.

User rights and contact

Customers and users may request access, correction, export, deletion, or restriction of personal data where applicable law provides those rights. TODO: add the official support/privacy email and required identity-verification process.

Updates

TODO: owner approval required before marking this policy with a final "Last updated" date. This page currently reflects an SEO/trust cleanup draft, not final legal advice.
